Essential Qualifications

  • Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science Engineering from a reputable institution, specializing in areas like Condition Monitoring & Diagnostics, Predictive Maintenance, Electric Vehicle/Electric Drives, or similar fields.
  • Research Publications: A minimum of two first-author publications (preferably in IEEE or IET journals) is required. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis may also apply, but they must provide proof of Ph.D. completion if shortlisted.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience: Background in AI, ML, IoT applications related to motor diagnostics, EV systems, power electronics, etc., is preferred.
  • Skills: The candidate should be proficient in English, industrious, and capable of committing adequate time for impactful research and publication output during their tenure.

Duration and Fellowship

  • Duration: Two years
  • Fellowship Amount: ₹80,000 per month (plus HRA as applicable) with an additional annual contingency of ₹50,000.
