Project Title: Sensor-based Soil Moisture Monitoring via Mobile App: Development of an AI-based Intelligent System for Marginal Farmers (SDM)
Sponsor: IIT Kharagpur AI4ICPS I Hub Foundation (IIT Kharagpur Campus, Dist. Paschim Medinipur, Kharagpur, Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal, 721302)
Compensation: Up to Rs. 37,000 per month (depending on qualifications & experience)
Qualifications Required:
- M.Tech (ECE/EE/Instrumentation) or B.Tech (ECE/EE/Instrumentation)
- OR B.Tech. (ECE/EE/Instrumentation)
- Selected through any of the following:
- National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC, NET (including lectureship/Assistant Professorship), and GATE.
- National-level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies/Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.
Relevant Experience:
- Candidate with electronic instrumentation knowledge and sensor development.
Age Limit:
- Maximum age: 28 years
- Relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped and female candidates

Tenure:
- 12 months or until the termination of the project, whichever is earlier.
