Qualifications and Job Specifications for 1. Research Establishment Officer (Grade I) – Advanced Centre for Material Sciences
- Pay Scale: 67,700 – 2,08,700 (Level 11)
- Essential Qualification: Ph.D./M.Tech/M.Sc./B.Tech in relevant field with experience
- Desirable: Expertise in energy harvesting, fabrication of thin films, experience with XRD, FESEM, and team management skills
- Responsibilities: Lead research teams, manage equipment, develop products, and write research proposals
2. Senior Research Establishment Officer – Central Experimental Animal Facility
- Pay Scale: 78,800 – 2,09,200 (Level 12)
- Essential Qualification: M.Tech/M.Sc./Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences with significant relevant experience
- Desirable: Experience in managing animal facilities, histopathology, procurement, and grant writing
- Responsibilities: Manage experimental animal facility, train students, support research protocols, and conduct preclinical studies
3. Senior Research Establishment Officer – Centre for Nanosciences
- Pay Scale: 78,800 – 2,09,200 (Level 12)
- Essential Qualification: Ph.D./M.Tech/M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Material Science with relevant experience
- Desirable: Experience with material characterization tools, electron microscopy, and procurement skills
- Responsibilities: Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, monitor lab activities, and train new personnel
4. Senior Research Establishment Officer – Mechanical Engineering

- Essential Qualification: M.Tech or Ph.D. in Mechanical/Metallurgy/Materials Engineering with relevant experience
- Desirable: Experience in microscopy, imaging, and equipment management
- Responsibilities: Support faculty and students in experiment execution, develop new experimental setups, and assist in research proposals
5. Research Establishment Officer (Grade I) – Physics
- Pay Scale: 67,700 – 2,08,700 (Level 11)
- Essential Qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering/Electronics with relevant experience
- Desirable: Knowledge of high/low voltage systems, particle accelerator facilities, and troubleshooting
- Responsibilities: Maintain high voltage power supplies, design electronic circuits, and manage lab equipment
6. Research Establishment Officer (Grade I) – Civil Engineering
- Pay Scale: 67,700 – 2,08,700 (Level 11)
- Essential Qualification: Ph.D./M.Tech/B.Tech in Civil, Electrical, or related fields with sensor experience
- Desirable: Hands-on experience with various sensors, IoT projects, and structural testing
