Eligibility Criteria Indian Coast Guard Job Notification 2024
The eligibility criteria for each post are as follows:
- Store Keeper Grade-II: 12th pass from a recognized board or university with 1 year of experience in handling stores.
- Engine Driver: Matriculation with a Certificate of Competency as Engine Driver and 2 years as Sarang on a vessel with over 400 BHP.
- Sarang Lascar: Matriculation with a Sarang competency certificate and 2 years of experience as Sarang-in-charge of a 20 HP vessel.
- Motor Transport Driver: 10th pass with valid heavy and light motor vehicle license, 2 years of driving experience, and knowledge of motor mechanics.
- Lascar Ist Class: Matriculation or equivalent with 3 years of ship service experience.
- Multi-Tasking Staff (Peon): Matriculation or equivalent with 2 years of office attendant experience.
- Rigger: Matriculation, qualified trade entrance exam, and completion of relevant apprenticeship or 4 years trade experience.
