CSIR NET Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a Master’s degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender). Final-year Master’s students can also apply, provided they meet the criteria within two years of the result.

Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): Maximum age of 30 years as of February 2025. Age relaxation applies as per government norms.
Assistant Professor/Ph.D. Admission: No upper age limit.
