Selection Process Territorial Army Officer Recruitment 2024
The selection process involves a screening by the Army Headquarters Selection Board (ASB), followed by a medical examination at Armed Forces Clinic, New Delhi. Selected candidates will undergo police verification for final selection.
Training and Service Conditions Territorial Army Officer Recruitment 2024
- Pre-Commission Training as per TA Rule 20A is mandatory.
- Two months of annual training is required each year.
- Service in the Territorial Army is part-time and does not guarantee a pension.
- Officers are commissioned in the rank of Lieutenant, with pay and allowances similar to Regular Army Officers when on military service.
- Promotions up to Lt Col are time-based, while promotions to higher ranks are based on selection.
