Mahatma Gandhi Central University Skill Test & Document Verification Notice for Non-Teaching Positions (Group ‘B’ & ‘C’)
Mahatma Gandhi Central University MGCU , a prestigious institution established by an Act of Parliament, is pleased to announce the Skill Test & Document Verification details for various Non-Teaching Positions (Group ‘B’ & ‘C’). This is in continuation of Advertisement No. MGCU/R/NT/2023/02 dated 1st December 2023, and the provisional result announced on 2nd August 2024.
Important Information: MGCU Skill Test & Document Verification Schedule
The Skill Test and Document Verification process for eligible candidates will be conducted at Chanakya Parisar, Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Zila School Premises, Motihari, District – East Champaran, Bihar. Please find the schedule below:

Documents Required for Verification
Candidates must bring the following documents in original as per the schedule mentioned above:
- Copy of the Online Application Form (duly filled and submitted).
- Certificates of Educational/Professional Qualification (Matriculation onwards).
- Documents supporting experience (if applicable).
- Certificate of Age/Date of Birth (Matriculation Certificate).
- Caste Certificate (OBC certificate issued within six months, if applicable).
- NOC and Vigilance Clearance Certificate from current employer (if applicable).
- Character Certificate issued by Pradhan/Tehsildar/Principal.
- Last Pay Certificate issued by Employer (if applicable).
- Two Passport Size Photographs.
Skill Test Details
- Hindi Translator: Typing Speed Test (30 w.p.m. in Hindi) and Translation Test between Hindi and English.
- Junior Engineer (Civil): Testing of practical engineering skills in areas like Surveying, Concrete Technology, Environmental Engineering, etc.
- Professional Assistant & Library Staff: Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) and handling library operations.
- Driver: Driving Skill Test including motor mechanics knowledge and traffic rules.
- Security Officer: Physical test consisting of running (1.6 Km in 6 minutes).
Criteria for Final Selection
The Skill Test is compulsory and qualifying in nature. Final selection will be based on performance in the Written Examination (Tier I: Objective Type Test and Tier II: Descriptive Test). The final list of selected candidates will be published on the university’s official website.
Important Instructions
- Acceptance of documents is subject to verification by competent authorities. False documents will lead to disqualification.
- Candidates must regularly check the official university website (www.mgcub.ac.in) for updates.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending Skill Test/Document Verification.
For any disputes, the decision of Mahatma Gandhi Central University will be final.
