• Chief Scientist (Forestry):
  • Master’s or Ph.D in Forestry/Ecology/Environmental Science/Wildlife Science/Natural Resource Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 13 years of experience in forestry, biodiversity conservation, ecosystem assessment, or environmental planning.
  • Experience in conducting EIA studies for hydropower, irrigation, ports, airports, etc.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the grade of ₹70,000-2,00,000 or equivalent.
• Chief Scientist (Fisheries & Aquatic Ecology):
  • Master’s or Ph.D in Fisheries Science/Aquatic Ecology/Zoology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 13 years of experience in fisheries resource assessment, aquatic biodiversity, aquatic ecology.
  • Experience in conducting EIA studies for various infrastructure projects.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the grade of ₹70,000-2,00,000 or equivalent.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for applicants is 56 years as of 30th November 2025. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen.
