Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, ensure you meet the following eligibility criteria:

Nationality

You must be either:

  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, intending to settle permanently, or
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries intending to settle permanently.

Educational Qualification

  • Engineering Degree: You must have obtained a degree in Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • Equivalent Qualifications: Includes passing Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India), or other qualifications specified in the official notification.
  • Note: Final-year students can also apply but must submit proof of passing the qualifying exam when required.

  • Maximum Age: 30 years
