Eligibility Criteria for UPSC CBI Assistant Programmer Recruitment 2024

Age Limit:

  • Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years old, as of 29th November 2024. Age relaxation will be provided as per government norms.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should meet one of the following educational criteria:

  • A Master’s degree in Computer Applications (MCA), Computer Science, or M.Tech (with specialization in Computer Applications), or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E.) or Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Technology from a recognized institution.

OR

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Electronics, or Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized university. With Two years of experience in electronic data processing, including actual programming, in government offices, public sector undertakings, universities, or recognized research institutions.

OR

  • A diploma (A-Level) under the Department of Electronics Accredited Computer Courses (DOEACC) or a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized institution.
  • Three years of experience in electronic data processing and programming in government offices, public sector undertakings, universities, or recognized research institutions.
