Important Notes
- Single State Application: Candidates must apply for vacancies in only one state. A candidate applying for a vacancy in one state is not eligible to apply for a vacancy in another state. Merit lists will be drawn state-wise.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants may apply for only one of the states as per the identified vacancies in this notification. Before applying, applicants must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria, including proficiency in the specified language of the state as listed above.
Nationality/Citizenship
An applicant must be either:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who migrated to India before 1st January 1962 intending to settle permanently in India, or
- A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam intending to settle permanently in India.
Candidates belonging to categories (ii) to (v) must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
Age and Educational Qualification
- Post: Local Bank Officer (LBO) – JMGS-I
- Age Limit: Minimum 20 years, Maximum 30 years
- Educational Qualification: Full-time/regular Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a university/institution recognized by the Government of India or its Regulatory bodies. A valid mark-sheet or degree certificate must be produced on the date of registration.
Cut-off Date for Eligibility:
- Age Criteria: 1st October 2024
- Educational Qualification: 13th November 2024

Reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD)
Under Section 34 of “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016”, persons with benchmark disabilities are eligible for reservation. The reserved categories of disabilities mentioned under this Act are:
- Visually Impaired (VI): Includes Blindness and Low Vision
- Hearing Impaired (HI): Includes Deaf and Hard of Hearing
- Orthopedically Challenged (OC): Includes Locomotor Disability (One Arm, One Leg, Both Legs), Cerebral Palsy, Leprosy Cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack Victims, Muscular Dystrophy
- Intellectual Disability (ID): Includes Autism Spectrum Disorder, Specific Learning Disability, Mental Illness, and Multiple Disabilities
Note: Only persons with a “Permanent Benchmark Disability” are eligible for reservation, which means not less than 40% of a specified disability.
Probation Period
The selected candidates will be on probation for a period of 2 years of active service from the date of joining the Bank.
Service Indemnity Bond
The selected candidates will be required to execute a Service Indemnity Bond, undertaking to serve the Bank for a minimum period of 3 years or to pay the Bank a sum of INR 2,00,000 (Two Lakh) plus applicable taxes if they leave the Bank before completion of 3 years of active service.
Selection Process
The selection process may comprise an Online Examination, Group Discussion (if conducted), Screening of applications, and/or Personal Interview depending on the number of applicants/eligible candidates. The Bank reserves the right to decide whether to use all or any of these modes for selection.

Penalty for Wrong Answers
There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each wrong answer, one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.
Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
Candidates shortlisted in the Online Examination must qualify in the Language Proficiency Test (LPT), which tests proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the specified local language. Candidates who produce a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/certificate proving study of the local language will be exempted from the LPT.
