- Ex-servicemen: Minimum 15 years of service in Armed Forces; must have held at least Havildar / Sergeant / Petty Officer rank or equivalent in police/paramilitary; or possess a Graduation equivalent certificate.
- Civilians: Graduate from a recognized University/Institution with NCC ‘C’ certificate and 5 years of experience as Security Officer/Supervisor/Assistant in large civil organizations such as hotels, hospitals, or airports. A valid driving license for LMV & Two-Wheeler is also required.
