Application Fee

• For all candidates: Rs. 500/-. ₹ 400/- will be refunded to those who actually appear in the written examination.
• For SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), Women, Minorities, and Economic Backward Classes: Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty Only). The amount will be refunded to those who actually appear in the written examination.

RRC East Coast Railway Recruitment 2025 Age Limit

• Level-2 posts: 18 to 30 years
• Level-1 posts: 18 to 33 years
• Age relaxation is admissible as per rules

Qualification

• 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. (50% marks are not required for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen candidates and candidates possessing higher qualification like Graduation/Post Graduation.). (OR)
• A pass in Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board and having ITI certificate for the posts in Technical Categories.
• 10th standard or ITI or equivalent from a recognized Board. (OR)
• National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
• For the post in Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Signal & Telecom Department and Catering Wing of Railways the minimum qualification is 10th pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT or 10th pass plus ITI.

Salary

• Group-C: Level-2 (GP ₹ 1900/-)
• Erstwhile Group-D: Level-1 (GP ₹ 1800/-)
