Eligibility Criteria for NEC Secretariat Consultants
Educational Qualification: Applicants must have a B-Tech/BE degree in Civil Engineering from recognized universities or institutions.
Experience : More than 3(three) years of experience after graduation in the field of Roads/Bridges/Buildings & other similar works of Civil Engineering.
Specialized Exposure: Minimum 6(Six) months of exposure to the Planning/Monitoring/Execution/DPR scrutiny of hill roads and its other appurtenances work.
Key Responsibilities for Civil Engineers in NEC Projects
As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the monitoring and inspection of NEC-funded Roads and Bridge projects/schemes under NESIDS (Roads) in the eight states of the North Eastern Region (NER). Your duties will include the submission of monitoring and inspection reports, which will indicate the physical and financial progress, along with photographs of such infrastructures, roads, and bridges projects. You will also assist in various areas of work related to the Transport and Communication (T&C) Sector.
Additionally, you will carry out feasibility studies of projects and examine Detailed Project Reports (DPR) for Road and Bridge Projects submitted by the State Governments of the NER. This includes reviewing civil estimates of the DPRs received in the NEC Secretariat across different sectors.
