Eligibility Criteria
Indian Nationals interested in temporary contract positions are eligible to apply. The qualifications required for each post are as follows:
- PS-I-01: B.E/B.Tech in Electronics and Communication or equivalent with minimum 60% marks. Desirable: 2 years of experience in satellite communication.
- PS-I-02: M.Sc in Computer Sciences or equivalent/B.E/B.Tech in relevant field with 60% marks. Desirable: M.E/M.Tech and 2 years of experience in web applications.
- PS-I-03: M.Sc in Physics/Applied Physics or equivalent/B.E/B.Tech with 60% marks. Desirable: 2 years of experience in scientific data collection.
- PS-I-04: M.Sc in Environmental Sciences or equivalent/B.E/B.Tech with 60% marks. Desirable: 2 years in geochemistry or polar expeditions.
- PS-I-05: M.Sc in Geology or equivalent/B.E/B.Tech with 60% marks. Desirable: 2 years in marine geological studies.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for all Project Scientist-I posts is 35 years as of 15-12-2025. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC (NCL) candidates as per Government of India norms.
