Additional Eligibility Requirements
Candidates for this role should have a legal background and relevant experience, particularly in roles within the central/state government, PSUs, or autonomous bodies.
- Position holders must have experience on a similar or equivalent level as per NHAI’s pay matrix guidelines.
- Those currently in roles at Pay Level-11 or equivalent IDA are eligible to apply.
- Candidates must hold positions at Pay Level-10 or equivalent IDA for at least 4 years.
- Roles equivalent to Pay Level-8 with 7 years of service may also apply.
Deputation Tenure
The initial deputation period is 3 years, which may extend to 5 years with the approval of the NHAI Chairman. Extension beyond 5 years, up to a maximum of 10 years, requires approval from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.
