Eligibility Criteria
For Engineering/Technology Branches (IT & Metallurgical Engineering):
- B.E/B.Tech/B.S. and M.E/M.Tech/M.S. or Integrated M.Tech in relevant branch with First Class.
- Ph.D after Bachelor’s from institutions of national importance with GATE is also eligible.
For Science & Humanities (Chemistry & Physics):
- Master’s Degree with 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) + NET/JET or Ph.D as per UGC Regulations.
- 5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwD candidates.
- Additional 5% relaxation for Ph.D holders who obtained Master’s before 19 September 1991.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for candidates is less than 65 years as on 01 August 2025. Candidates attaining 65 years during the selection process will not be considered.
Application Fee
- EBC (Extremely Backward Classes – Schedule I): ₹600
- SC/ST (Jharkhand only): ₹150
- PwD (minimum 40% disability): Exempted
Note: The application fee is non-refundable.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on the following criteria:
- Academic Record & Achievements: 80 marks
- Interview: 20 marks
The total score will be out of 100 marks. A merit list will be prepared based on the combined score. Candidates will be called for document verification and interviews based on their ranking in the merit list.
