Eligibility and Educational Qualification
To be eligible for the Guest Faculty positions, candidates must hold a Master’s degree in the relevant subject of Agriculture or Veterinary faculty with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade of 6.50 in a 10-point scale). Candidates with a Master’s degree must also have passed the NET (National Eligibility Test) and have at least one publication in a NAAS rated referred journal in the relevant discipline. Ph.D. holders may be exempted from NET if their Ph.D. was completed with course work as prescribed by UGC Regulation 2009, and they must have at least two full-length publications with a NAAS rating of not less than 4. If no candidates meet these criteria, the university may consider candidates with a PG degree in the relevant subject.
