Eligibility Criteria for ITI Apprenticeship
- Age: Candidates must be at least 14 years old, and for hazardous trades, the minimum age is 18 years.
- Educational Qualification: Applicants must meet the educational standards as prescribed for each trade under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
- Physical Fitness: Candidates must meet the required physical fitness standards for apprenticeship training.
General Instructions for ITI Apprentices Recruitment at CSIR-CLRI Chennai
- The walk-in interview will be held on 27th September 2024 between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM at CSIR-CLRI, Chennai.
- Candidates must bring original certificates for age, education, and other required documents for verification.
- Only candidates who have completed their training in the respective ITI trades under NCVT and are registered with the Apprenticeship Web Portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) are eligible.
- Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training are not eligible to apply.
- Selection will be based on the performance in the walk-in interview, and empaneled candidates may be considered for future vacancies.
