ITBP Motor Mechanic Recruitment 2024 : The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has issued a recruitment notification for the positions of Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) and Constable (Motor Mechanic). These posts are categorized as General Central Service, Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted (Non-Ministerial), and are initially temporary but likely to be made permanent. Educational Qualification

• Head Constable (Motor Mechanic):
  • 10+2 from a recognized board.
  • Certificate in Motor Mechanic from a recognized institution or ITI with 3 years of practical experience in the trade.
  • OR a Diploma in Automobile Engineering.
• Constable (Motor Mechanic):
  • 10th class from a recognized board.
  • ITI in the relevant trade or 3 years of experience in the trade.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years
• Age Relaxation: As per government norms.

Selection Process

The selection process includes the following stages:

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualifying in nature.
2. Physical Standard Test (PST): Measurement of height, weight, and chest as per guidelines.
3. Written Examination: Objective-type test of 100 marks.
