Eligibility Criteria
- For Interpreter:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute
- C Level – Indian Sign Language Course or Diploma in Indian Sign Language Interpretation
- Minimum three years of interpreting experience in an academic institute
- RCI Registration
- Proficiency test for Sign Language is compulsory
- For Library Assistant:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized University/Institute
- Two years of professional experience in a library under Central/State Government or recognized institutions
- Desirable: Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University/Institute
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for candidates is below 35 years as on 23rd February 2026. Age relaxation is applicable as follows:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Government/Semi-Government/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies: 5 years
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 years
