- B. Tech or B.E. or AIME and equivalent OR
- Graduate Degree in appropriate discipline / Technical Diploma with 5 years of relevant experience.

- Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least one SCI indexed journal publication in the area of thermoplastic composites.
