Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Junior Research Fellow position, candidates must possess:
- B.E. or B.Tech / M.E. or M.Tech with First class in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent from a recognized university/institute.
- Valid GATE/NET score or equivalent qualifications such as CSIR/UGC-NET, JRF, SLET, Lecturer, DST INSPIRE, etc.
- Minimum 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in the qualifying degree.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for applicants is 32 years. However, there is a relaxation of up to 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically Handicapped categories.
