Eligibility Criteria for ICAR-NBPGR SRF 2025
Essential Educational Qualification
- Master’s degree in Seed Science and Technology / Agriculture Botany / Plant Genetic Resources / Genetics & Plant Breeding with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree
- OR Candidates having post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences (with specialization in Plant Sciences and Plant Physiology) with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET/GATE or equivalent qualification
- 60% marks (or equivalent GPA) in post-graduation
Age Limit
- Maximum 35 years (as on last date of application)
- Relaxation: SC/ST/Women – 5 years | OBC (NCL) – 3 years | Differently Abled – 10 years (as per Govt./ICAR rules)
