Selection Criteria, Examination Process, and Syllabus
(i) Based on the Hon’ble High Court’s judgment dated 31.05.2024 in LPA No. 1037/2023, the weightage for socio-economic marks has been removed. The updated marks distribution, as outlined in Government Letter No. 42/02/2018-5GS-I dated 25.03.2022, is as follows:

(a) Written Examination
- All questions are mandatory.
- The question paper will be available in both English and Hindi.
- An offline (OMR-based) written examination will be held for the recruitment of PRT posts.
- There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
- The exam will consist of 100 questions, with each question worth 0.95 marks.
- Candidates must choose one answer from five options for each question. If a question is left unanswered, 0.95 marks will be deducted per unattempted question.
- An additional five minutes will be granted to mark the fifth option if a candidate is uncertain about an answer.
