Note: Locations are Kolkata & Ranchi.
Reservation and Age Relaxation
- Reservation will be applied as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules 1992.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- PH candidates: 10 years
Application Procedure
- Candidates must register themselves on the Apprenticeship Training Portal:
- For Trade Apprentices: https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
- For Graduate & Technician Apprentices: http://nats.education.gov.in
- After registration, candidates need to apply through the Career Section of the GRSE website: www.grse.in or https://jobapply.in/grse2024app.
- Last Date for Online Application: 17th November 2024.
GRSE Apprentice Recruitment Selection Process
- Merit List based on marks scored in the qualifying examination.
- Trade Apprentice (Ex-ITI): AITT under CTS.
- Graduate Apprentice: Degree in Engineering examination.
- Technician Apprentice: Diploma in Engineering examination.
- Trade Apprentice (Fresher): Class 10th standard / Madhyamik marks.
- Document Verification and Medical Examination will be conducted for shortlisted candidates.
- Final selection is subject to medical fitness and police verification.
Stipend Details
- Trade Apprentice (Fresher): ₹6,000 (1st year), ₹6,600 (2nd year).
- Trade Apprentice (Ex-ITI): ₹7,000 – ₹7,700 per month.
- Graduate Apprentice: ₹15,000 (Kolkata), ₹12,500 (Ranchi).
- Technician Apprentice: ₹10,000 (Kolkata), ₹9,000 (Ranchi).

- Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
- No TA/DA will be paid for any stage of the selection process.
