DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2024 : The Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO) – Research Centre Imarat (RCI) has announced a recruitment drive for the positions of Graduate Apprentice, Technician Apprentice, and Trade Apprentice. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can review the official notification and submit their applications online.

Selection Process or

Selection Procedure:
1. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories will be applicable as per provision of Apprentices Act
1961, Apprentice Rules, 1992 and Apprenticeship (Amendment) Rules, 2019.
2. Selection will be made on the basis of Academic Merit / Interview as required, subject to satisfactory
verification of the documents.
3. Shortlisted Candidates will be informed via E-mail mentioned in the application for
correspondence. It is advised to check the emails periodically and keep the same active till
completion of selection process. Administration of Establishment will not be responsible for
non-receipt of communication due to change in mobile number/e-mail id.
4. Candidates are required to bring Original and Self-attested copy of documents mentioned below
during document verification / joining :-
Documents to be carried:
a. Signed printout of the Application.
b. 10th Mark sheet and certificate.
c. B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma / ITI Final Mark sheet/ Provisional.
d. Degree / provisional Degree / Diploma / ITI certificate.
e. Caste Certificate (if applicable).
f. PWD Certificate (if applicable).
g. Any Photo ID card issued by Govt. of India like PAN Card / Voter ID / Driving License.
h. Aadhaar Card (Mandatory).
i. Copy of Aadhaar Seeded Bank Pass Book/Statement [Note: It is mandatory to have
Aadhaar Seeded / linked Bank account].
j. Medical fitness certificate issued by a Civil Assistant Surgeon.
k. Two Passport size photographs.

Important Instructions For Candidates

1. Verification of documents shall be done for selected candidates prior to Creation of Contract only
and in case of any deviation from or non-conformity with the desired qualification, candidature of
the candidate shall be rejected.
2. All the qualifications must be from Indian Institutions recognised by Appropriate Statutory Authority.
3. Candidates with higher qualification are Not eligible to apply.
4. Suppression of facts will also lead to disqualification, at any stage of the selection process or during
the apprenticeship period.
5. Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or at present undergoing
apprenticeship training under any organization are Not eligible to apply.
6. Candidates with more than one year work experience are not eligible to apply.
7. No TA/DA will be paid to the applicants called for any stage of the selection process.
8. The apprentices will not be provided any Hostel Accommodation, Quarter and Transport by the
establishment at the time of interview and also during the apprenticeship period.
9. The engagement and training are strictly in compliance with the provision of the Apprenticeship Act
1961 and there is no obligation for employment of apprentices on completion of their
training.
10. Any canvassing or personal follow up during the process of selection of apprentice by and behalf
of any candidate shall lead to immediate cancellation of candidature.
11. RCI reserves the right to terminate apprenticeship if circumstances so warrant without assigning
any reason thereof.
12. In case of any dispute, the legal jurisdiction shall be that of the Honourable High Court, Hyderabad,
Telangana.
13. The selected candidates should abide by the rules and regulations framed by the
Administration from time to time.
