Qualification Criteria

For Clerk:

• Educational Qualification: A degree of Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Other Requirements:
  • Passed matriculation with Hindi as one of the subjects.
  • Proficiency in operating Word and Spreadsheet on computers.
  • Candidates must pass a Computer Typing Test at a speed of 30 w.p.m..

For Driver:

• Educational Qualification: At least middle pass with Punjabi/Hindi as one of the subjects.
• Other Requirements:
  • A valid Light Motor Vehicle (LTV) driving license.
  • At least two years of experience in driving and no conviction for negligent driving.

Selection Process

For Clerk:

• Written Test:
  • English Composition: 50 Marks (Qualifying marks: 33%)
  • General Knowledge: 50 Marks (Qualifying marks: 33%)
  • Aggregate 40% marks are required to be considered for the final selection.
• Computer Typing Test: Candidates must qualify with a typing speed of 30 w.p.m.

For Driver:

• Driving Test: Assessment based on driving skills, experience, and valid driving license.

• Maximum Age: 42 years as on January 1, 2024
