- Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching and/or research.
- Minimum of 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- A total research score of 75 as per UGC norms.
- For Music:
- An eminent scholar with a doctoral degree.
- Actively engaged in research with at least 8 years of teaching experience.
- Minimum of 6 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.

3. Assistant Professor
Essential Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree with 55% marks in a concerned/relevant/allied subject.
- Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR.
- OR have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC regulations.
Note: Candidates with a Ph.D. degree obtained from a foreign university with a ranking among the top 500 in the World University Ranking are exempted from NET.
