Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Junior Secretariat Assistant:
- Passed 10+2/XII or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Typing proficiency with a speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi.
- Junior Stenographer:
- Passed 10+2/XII or equivalent.
- Stenography skills with 80 w.p.m. in dictation and transcription within 50 minutes (English) or 65 minutes (Hindi).
Age Limit (as of 1st January 2025)
- Junior Secretariat Assistant: Maximum 28 years
- Junior Stenographer: Maximum 27 years
Age relaxation will be provided as per government regulations.
Selection Process
Written Examination
- Paper I:
- Mental Ability Test
- 100 questions (90 minutes)
- Qualifying in nature
- Paper II:
- General Awareness and General English
- Evaluated only for candidates who qualify in Paper I
Skill Test
- Junior Secretariat Assistant: Typing Test
- Junior Stenographer: Stenography Test
Final Merit List
- Based on scores in Paper II for Junior Secretariat Assistant.
- For Junior Stenographer, merit will depend on the performance in the written test.
