• Civil: 91 vacancies (Post Code: 12, GATE Paper Code: CE)
• Electrical: 102 vacancies (Post Code: 13, GATE Paper Code: EE)
• Mechanical: 104 vacancies (Post Code: 14, GATE Paper Code: ME)
• System: 41 vacancies (Post Code: 15, GATE Paper Code: CS)
• Electronics & Telecommunication (E&T): 39 vacancies (Post Code: 16, GATE Paper Code: EC)

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) or MCA degree from a recognized institute. The minimum qualifying marks are 60% for General, OBC (NCL), and EWS candidates. SC/ST/PwBD candidates receive a 5% relaxation in marks.
• Appearing Candidates: Those who are in their final year of study (academic year 2023-24) and have appeared for GATE-2024 are also eligible. Such candidates must submit their final results before the final selection process.

Selection Process

• Eligible candidates must have appeared for GATE-2024. Candidates will be shortlisted based on GATE-2024 scores, and discipline-wise, category-wise merit will be prepared.
• In case of a tie in GATE scores, the applicant with a higher percentage in the qualifying exam will be preferred. If a tie persists, the older candidate will be given preference.

• Last Date for Submission of Online Application: 28-Nov-2024 (6:00 P.M)

Age Limit
The upper age limit for General (UR) and EWS candidates is 30 years as of 30-Sep-2024. Relaxations apply for other categories:

• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
• SC/ST: 5 years
• PwBD: 10-15 years depending on category

Application Fee

• General/OBC (NCL)/EWS: ₹ 1,180 (inclusive of GST)
• SC/ST/PwBD/Coal India employees: Exempted from application fee

Salary and Benefits

• Training Period: Selected candidates will be placed in E-2 Grade with a pay scale of ₹ 50,000 – 1,60,000.
• After Training: On successful completion, candidates will be placed in E-3 Grade with a pay scale of ₹ 60,000 – 1,80,000, plus benefits like Dearness Allowance, HRA, medical facilities, and performance-related pay.
