Organization Profile: The Central University of Odisha has been established by the Parliament under the Central Universities Act, 2009 (No. 3C of 2009). It is one of the 15 new Central Universities established by the Government of India during the UGC XI Plan period to address the concerns of “equity and access” and as per the policy of the Government of India to increase the access to quality higher education by people in less educationally developed districts which have a Graduate Enrollment Ratio of less than the national average of 11%.

Project Title: Study on nutritional analysis & microbial diversity associated with local land races of selected crops and commodities in Similipal landscape” of GEF-6, Green-Ag Project, Department of Agriculture and Farmers
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Research Fellow
- Post-Graduate Degree in any branch of Life Sciences /Botany / Biodiversity / Biotechnology and experience in conducting field studies.
- Emoluments: Rs. 25,000/- Per Month
- Field Surveyor
- Graduate Degree in any branch of Sciences with experience in conducting field surveys for the purpose of field visit, data analysis, compilation etc.
- Emoluments: Rs. 15,000/- Per Month.
Project Tenure: The project tenure is Six months OR completion of the project, whichever is earlier

How to Apply: A “Walk-in-Interview” will be held on 15.07.2025 at 10:00 A.M. for selection of one Project Fellow and one Field Surveyor. Candidates are requested to appear the interview with a CV along with all original certificates and mark sheets (along with a set of photocopies). Any other certificate/ testimonials relating to this and publication if any also be produced at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the Interview.
