About Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (BRLPS)
BRLPS, an autonomous body under the Government of Bihar, has been designated as the State Rural Livelihoods Mission. It aims to scale up the highly successful “JEEViKA” model across all 534 blocks of 38 districts in Bihar under the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM). With the mission to empower rural communities, BRLPS has organized 10.47 lakh women into SHGs, generating Rs. 11,000 crore of their own funds and leveraging over Rs. 35,000 crore from banks. Eligibility Criteria District Project Manager JEEVIKA Recruitment 2024
- Positions Available: 09 (UR-03, EWS-1, BC-02, EBC-1, SC-02)
- Educational Qualification:
- PG degree/diploma in Management/Social Work/Rural Development/Rural Management from premier institutes with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- PG degree/diploma in the same fields from any other institutes with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
- Individuals from Bihar Administrative Services/Line Departments with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Retired officials from Government, PSUs, and Banks with relevant experience can also apply.
- Experience: Candidates should have experience in leading large multidisciplinary teams in livelihood programs, capacity building, HR management, social mobilization, financial inclusion, and project management.
Manager – Livestock BRLPS Recruitment 2024
- Positions Available: 29 (UR-06, EWS-4, BC-02, BCW-2, EBC-8, SC-07)
- Educational Qualification:
- PG degree/diploma in Rural Management/Agri-business Management with 1 year of relevant experience.
- Postgraduate in Veterinary Science/Animal Husbandry/Dairy Technology/Fishery with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Graduate in the same fields with 4 years of relevant experience.
- Individuals from Bihar Administrative Services/Line Departments with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience can also apply.
- Retired officials from Government, PSUs, and Banks with relevant experience are also eligible.
- Experience: Candidates should have relevant work experience managing off-farm/non-farm livelihood activities, including micro-enterprises.

District Project Manager
- Overall project in-charge and team leader at the district level.
- Responsible for planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities at the district level.
- Supervising block units in the district and ensuring uniformity in functioning.
- Managing partnerships and ensuring effective fund utilization.
- Nurturing block-level federations and ensuring service delivery improvement.
Manager – Livestock
- Managing partnership activities of the project at the district level.
- Ensuring backward and forward linkages for community institutions related to Dairy and Livestock promotion.
- Supporting the District Project Manager in planning dairy-based livelihood activities.
- Providing resource support to block project units and ensuring the quality of project interventions.
