Eligibility Criteria for Assam University Non-Teaching Jobs 2024
- Librarian:
- Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks.
- At least 10 years of experience as a librarian or equivalent.
- Ph.D. in Library Science is mandatory.
- Assistant Director of Physical Education & Sports:
- Master’s Degree in Physical Education with 55% marks.
- National Eligibility Test (NET) qualified or Ph.D. in the relevant field.
- Physical fitness test and sports achievements at state/national level are required.
- Section Officer:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 3 years of experience as Assistant in Level 6 or 8 years as UDC in Level 4.
- Proficiency in computer operations is required.
- Assistant:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as UDC in Level 4 or equivalent.
- Semi-Professional Assistant:
- Master’s Degree in Library Science or a Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
- UDC (Upper Division Clerk):
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of experience as LDC or equivalent.
- Typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi.
- Library Assistant:
