(i) A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-II of the third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act). (ii) A postgraduate qualification i.e., M.D. in Anaesthesia or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.<br> (iii) Three years of teaching and/or research experience from a recognized Institution in the subject/discipline concerned after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. in Anaesthesia or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Assistant Professor of Cardiology
(i) Same as for Assistant Professor of Anaesthesia at Sl. No. 01(i) above.<br> (ii) D.M. in Cardiology (2 years or 3 years or 5 years or 6 years recognized course after MBBS) or recognized qualification equivalent thereto. (iii) One-year teaching and/or research experience from a recognized Institution in the subject/discipline concerned after obtaining the Degree of D.M. in Cardiology (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing three years or six years recognized Degree of D.M. in Cardiology.
Assistant Professor of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery
(i) Same as for Assistant Professor of Anaesthesia at Sl. No. 01 above. (ii) M.Ch. in CTVS (2 years or 3 years or 5 years or 6 years recognized course after MBBS) or recognized qualification equivalent thereto.(iii) One-year teaching and/or research experience from a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the Degree of M.Ch. in CTVS (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing three years or six years recognized Degree of M.Ch. in CTVS.
Assistant Professor of Dermatology
(i) Same as for Assistant Professor of Anaesthesia at Sl. No. 01(i) above. (ii) M.D. in Dermatology & Venereology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. (iii) Three years of teaching and/or research experience from a recognized Institution after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. in Dermatology & Venereology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Assistant Professor of Endocrinology
(i) Same as for Assistant Professor of Anaesthesia at Sl. No. 01(i) above. (ii) D.M. in Endocrinology & Metabolism (2 years or 3 years or 5 years or 6 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. (iii) One-year teaching and/or research experience from a recognized Institution in the subject/discipline concerned after obtaining the Degree of D.M. in Endocrinology & Metabolism (2 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Assistant Professor of E.N.T.

i.
The Posts of Professors and Additional Professors are to be filled up by Direct Recruitment failing which deputation basis.
ii.
Maximum age limit for applying for the posts of Professor on deputation is 58 years and for Additional Professor is 56 years as on last date of receipt of online application.
iii.
The deputation appointment may be made initially for 3/5 years, extendable for another two years up to a maximum of 7 years, subject to the decision of the Executive Director.
iv.
Terms and Conditions of deputation will be regulated according to relevant guidelines issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, Govt. of India, including OM No-6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay-II) dated 17th June 2010, OM No. 2/6/2016-Estt (Pay-II) dated 17th February 2016, OM No. 2/6/2016-Estt.(Pay-II) dated 23rd February 2017, and other relevant amendments.
v.
Candidates must possess the prescribed educational qualifications and experiences as specified for the applied post. Eligibility criteria as per DoPT guidelines for deputation posts must be met when applying for higher posts.
