Eligibility Criteria
- MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Completion of compulsory internship with an Internship Completion Certificate.
- Registration under any State Medical Council / NMC.
- MBBS (including Internship) should not be earlier than three years before the start date of Junior Residency, i.e., 31 January 2026.
- Candidates who have completed two terms of Junior Residency (Non-Academic) will not be considered.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for candidates applying for the Junior Resident position is 33 years as of the date of notification publication. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved vacancies. However, PwD (OPH) candidates are eligible for an age relaxation of 10 years.
