AIIMS Deoghar Professor Eligibility Criteria
For Medical Candidates (Broad Specialty Discipline)
Educational Qualification: Medical qualification as per the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956. Postgraduate qualification (MD/MS) or equivalent in the respective discipline.
Experience: 14 years of teaching/research experience in a recognized institution after obtaining the MD/MS degree or equivalent.
For Medical Candidates (Super Specialty Discipline)
Educational Qualification: M.Ch. for surgical super specialties or D.M. for medical super specialties (2, 3, or 5-year recognized courses) or equivalent.
Experience: 12 years of teaching/research experience in a recognized institution after obtaining M.Ch./D.M. (2 or 5 years) or equivalent. 11 years of teaching/research experience after obtaining a 3-year D.M./M.Ch. degree or equivalent.
For Dentistry Candidates
Educational Qualification: Qualification as per the Dentist Act 1948. Postgraduate qualification in Dental Surgery (M.D.S).
Experience: 14 years of teaching/research experience in a recognized institution after obtaining the M.D.S. degree or equivalent.
For Non-Medical Candidates
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in the concerned specialty. Doctorate degree from a recognized university.
