Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification for SRF:
- Master’s degree in Remote Sensing and GIS / Geoinformatics / any discipline of Agriculture / Computer Science with a 4 or 5 years Bachelor’s degree.
- M.Tech. in Computer Application / Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Science & Engineering / Software Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Information Technology from a recognized university.
- Post-graduate degree in Environmental Science / Geography with a 3 years Bachelor’s degree and a 2 years Master’s degree, NET qualifications, and 2 years of research experience.
- B.Sc. (Ag.) with a four years graduation degree followed by M.Sc. in any discipline.
- Ph.D. in any discipline of science.
Essential Qualification for YP-II:
- Master’s degree in Remote Sensing and GIS / Geoinformatics / Environmental Science / Geography / any discipline of Agriculture.
- M.Tech. in Computer Application / Information Technology / Computer Science & Engineering / Software Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Information Technology from a recognized university.
Age Limit
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women.
- Young Professional-II (YP-II): Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years, with relaxation as per rules.
